Science Week 2017

Our week started with an exciting assembly, after which each class took part in a science carousel day.  We took part in a range of experiments including, testing materials to make parachutes, chromatography, building and testing electrical circuits, creating volcanoes and making lava lamps.

Space camp was great fun, we enjoyed activities to replicate the tasks and training that astronauts including Tim Peake might have completed!

The mobile planetarium was amazing, we experienced a spectacular show which taught us about the solar system and constellations.

A few comments from the day…

“I loved the space jump!”

“The rocket launch at lunch time was so much fun.”

“This is wicked (planetarium).”
