We would like the chance to show you our friendly, successful school. We have two Open Mornings on Thursday 12th October 9.30 - 11.30 and Wednesday 15th November 9.30 - 11.30. Sarah Manning, Headteacher will give a short talk and answer general questions at 10am and again at 11am. Visitors will need to sign in at reception and will be able to visit any part of the school.
Alternatively Sarah Manning is very happy to offer tours of the school to individual parents or groups of parents by arrangement with the school office. These usually last 45mins-1hr including time for questions. Please telephone the school office on 01245 472686 for an appointment. We look forward to seeing you!
Admissions Policy
There is no guarantee of a place for children living in the priority admission area.
In the event of oversubscription places will be allocated using the following criteria in the order given
1. Looked After Children and previously looked after children (as defined on page 12 of the Primary Education in Essex 2015/2016 booklet);
2. children with a sibling attending the school or the partner junior school;
3. children living in the priority admission area;
4. remaining applications.
In the event of oversubscription within any of the above criteria, priority will be determined by straight line distance from home to school, those living closest being given the highest priority.
Exceptional medical circumstances (supported by medical evidence) may override the above (other than Looked After Children and previously looked after children).
